Blair Sackett is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania. She received a BA from Washington University in St. Louis in Urban Studies and African and African American Studies. Her interests include international migration, and specifically forced migration, and the culture and structure of international aid organizations in refugee camps. She is also interested in the experiences and identities of refugees within refugee camps, informal settlements, and upon resettlement in a host nation. Her research is focused on Africa and East Africa in particular.
