Shaquilla Harrigan


Shaquilla Harrigan is a first-year doctoral student in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, international development, and the African diaspora. Prior to her graduate studies, Shaquilla served as the Service to Society Fellow at the Phillips Brooks House Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship at Harvard College. She was also a 2016-2017 Princeton in Africa Fellow at African Women in Agricultural Research in Development (AWARD) based in Nairobi, Kenya.
