Dorothy Roberts Urges Scientists to Explore Genetic Diversity Without Race

Dorothy Roberts, along with Penn Medicine's Sarah Tishkoff, Drexel University's Michael Yudell, and the American Museum of Natural History's Rob DeSalle, assessed the need to end using race as a biological category when researching genes in the latest issue of Science Magazine. Literature has come to show that race is not relevant nor accurate when looking at diversity and that inequality in health has little do with genetics and more to do with social surroundings.
