Morgan Peele, Jason Schnittker, Duy Do, and Xi Song earn IPUMS Research Awards

Sociology/Demography Ph.D Candidate Morgan Peele earned the IPUMS Health Surveys Student Research award for her paper, "Is Declining Mental Health in the U.S. a White Phenomenon? Racial Disparities in Mental Health from 1997 to 2018."

Jason Schnittker and Demography Ph.D. candidate Duy Do tied for the IPUMS Health Surveys Published Research award for their paper, "Pharmaceutical Side Effects and Mental Health Paradoxes among Racial-Ethnic Minorities." 

And Xi Song (et al.) earned the IPUMS USA Published Research award for the paper, "Long-term decline in intergenerational mobility in the United States since the 1850s."

These awards honor "the best research using IPUMS data to advance or deepen our understanding of social and demographic processes."
