Melissa J. Wilde has been promoted to full professor effective July 1, 2020. Melissa's next endeavors include a number of projects. She is co-PI on a large survey project that will investigate the relationship between religion and politics during the upcoming national election. She is actively working on compiling an archive of historical articles on American religious groups’ views over the first half of the Twentieth century, and she is also beginning to work on digitizing quantitative data from the Census of Religious Bodies that will allow her to examine religious inequality over the past century.
