Shani Adia Evans Accepts Position with Rice University

Shani Adia Evans, who graduated from UPenn in 2016 (with a joint degree in sociology and education), has accepted a position at Rice University beginning the fall semester. She also has a book project with University of Chicago Press entitled, The World Was Ours: Race, Memory, and Resistance in the Gentrified City.
