Amanda Barrett Cox, Ph.D. student, has received Honorable Mention for the the 2017 James D. Thompson Graduate Student Paper Award from the ASA section on Organizations, Occupations and Work for her paper entitled, "Cohorts, 'Siblings,' and Mentors: Organizational Structures and the Creation of Social Capital."
