Dr. Eileen Lake, Professor of Nursing and Sociology has been named the Edith Clemmer Steinbright Professor in Gerontology.
The Edith Clemmer Steinbright Chair of Gerontology was established by Marilyn Steinbright in 1996 in memory of her mother, Edith C. Steinbright, a co-founder of the Arcadia Foundation, who “made a difference to the people of Greater Philadelphia… [by providing] support to hospitals, social services and nursing institutions that the children, the aged, the sick and the disadvantaged might be served."
