 The RC28 Summer Conference will be held at the University of Pennsylvania, August 17-19, 2015. We invite researchers in the field of social stratification and mobility to submit papers and participate in the conference organized by Hyunjoon Park and Herbert L. Smith with support from the Population Studies Center, Department of Sociology, and other organizations at Penn.

The RC28 Summer 2015 conference will bring together the world's renowned and emerging international scholars who study social stratification, mobility, and inequality. In particular, the theme of the conference is "Demographic Perspectives on Inequality." We invite papers that are directly relevant for the conference theme. We also welcome papers that address various issues in social stratification, mobility and inequality as well as policy responses to inequality.
