How did we get there? And where do we go now?, an open discussion on academia and the current political moment, in the United States and in the world. This is intended for us to be a space to reflect on the limits of academia and the ways in which we got things wrong, but also to think about our role as scholars in trying to make the world a better place.
During this session, there will be no formal paper presentations, but rather a discussion open to all contributions and moderated by Guobin Yang (Annenberg & Sociology), Jasmine Erdener (Annenberg) and Helene Langlamet (Annenberg). Bring your thoughts, questions and unpopular opinions to contribute!
Lunch will be provided so please RSVP here.
