Dr. Marcus T. Wright (Undergraduate Program Manager of Sociology) has recently published a children's book! Henry's Hoodie! centers the experience of a Black boy as he doubts whether he can do great things without his precious hoodie! Dr. Wright wrote this as a contribution to a future where there are more stories with Black boys as lead characters. He wrote the book for ages 3-6, but believes it also serves as a good reminder of believing in yourself for readers of all ages and every background.
