Jason Schnittker, Professor of Sociology, has received the Leonard I. Pearlin Award for Distinguished Contributions to the Sociological Study of Mental Health from the American Sociological Association (ASA). This award carries the name of the highly influential and deeply respected mental health sociologist, Leonard Pearlin. It goes to a scholar who has made substantial contributions to the sociology of mental health in theory and/or research. Congratulations to Professor Schnittker on this honor!
