Jay Kaufman is Professor and Canada Research Chair in Health Disparities in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University. His research focuses on social epidemiology, analytic methodology, causal inference, and on a variety of health outcomes including reproductive, cardiovascular, psychiatric and infectious diseases.

As PRSS Visiting Scholar, he will give a lecture on March 25th at 5:30pm and a workshop on March 26th at 12pm, addressing key developments, implications, and epidemiological challenges for using “big data” to help better explore the relationships between race and health.
