Pilar Gonalons-Pons, Assistant Professor of Sociology, was selected as a nominee for the 2022 Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research for her article published in Sage Journals titled, “Marriage and Masculinity: Male-Breadwinner Culture, Unemployment, and Separation Risk in 29 Countries” . Her work is now recognized as one of 17 Kanter Award nominees from over 2,500 articles published in 2021.
