Penn Sociology has partnered with the Netter Center for Community Partnerships for the Penn Sociology/Netter Center PEARL Partnership. PEARL (Practical, Experiential, Applied Research and Learning) gives students in our Sociology program several pathways to gain practical experience while applying their sociological knowledge. Our partnership with the Netter Center provides our students with dozens of potential on- and off-campus sites to use their sociological imagination to help solve real-world problems while earning academic credit.
For information on potential Netter Center sites, contact Faustine Sun at abcscoordinator@sas.upenn.edu or visit https://www.nettercenter.upenn.edu/what-we-do.
For information on how to earn academic credit through this partnership, contact Dr. Marcus T. Wright at marcuswr@sas.upenn.edu.
